SAM Broadcaster v4.5.5 RC3 Update
We've been receiving raves about SAM Broadcaster™ ever since it was first introduced over a decade ago, and we're very proud of the Spacial Audio development team.

This time we think they've really gone over-the-top with the SAM Broadcaster v4.5.5 RC3 update. There are at least 10 improvements that you can get by downloading this free update here - http://download.spacialaudio.com/beta/sambc-up-v455RC3.exe

Some improvements on this update:
Added CSV export of SoundExchange report
Updated StreamAds logic to allow for better distribution of shorter ads
Increased default separation times for StreamAds Logic
Added support for "Pre-Event" scripting in Windows Media Encoder
Added PID cleanup for Robust encoders on SAM startup
Fixed bug with SoundExchange report when using FireBird database
Added Wowza stats relay support
Added URL Append Template for Shoutcast/Icecast streaming



DiMA Call to Action for Webcasters
Earlier this month we sent an email with the subject line of "Webcasting Rates - A Chance for Reprieve." It requested that you take a minute to register your opposition to high performance royalty fees. We sent your signature to members of the House of Representatives.

This is a different fight, but part of the same battle to lower internet radio's performance royalty fees to the same level that Washington legislators will offer to broadcast radio.

This letter will be sent to the 22 Senators who sit on the Senate Judiciary Committee which is overseeing the performance royalty issue. We'll match your state with the proper Senator.
If no Senator comes from where you reside, your name will be included in the letter that goes to the Chairman of this Committee.

Our goal is to have internet radio royalty rates match the much lower performance royalty rates for broadcasters, which is currently moving through the House and Senate.

This letter will be presented on Monday, June 8, 2009. So please take one minute, right now, and add your name to the list.
Every person counts when trying to get something passed in Washington DC.
